It’s been a while since I tried a bunch of udon varieties and this is the last of the recent varieties sent by Myojo – thanks again! Let us begin.
Myojo Authentic Japanese Udon Original Flavor – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in everything and fill to line with room temperature water. Microwave 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added flower fu, shrimp, narutomaki, sesame seed, spring onion, and mung bean sprout. Udon excellent as usual – thick and chewy. Broth is very standard – a little sweet, notes of bonito. Seaweed throughout. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 850057841183.
