I really wanted to demo this stuff with something like, oh I dunno – Buldak Kimchi – which would’ve been fun. Unfortunately, they have so curtailed their individual pack options at HMart that there were literally only two Korean varieties. Yep. I ended up getting a pack of Meoguri at the local grocery store – pretty sad. I went with Neoguri though because it’s quite nice stuff, and I believe I saw a video of this kimchi mix being used with Neoguri – seems an apt pairing. Well, let’s give it a shot!

Deatil of the nutrition facts (click to enlarge). Note – I put the ingredients at the bottom alongside the nutrition facts graphic from the website. To prepare, add into your cooking or steeping noodle, or anything else – rice for example. Hydrates in 3 seconds. Enjoy!
Here’s the dehydrated product – a lot of dehydrated kimchi and mushroom, that’s for sure.
Here’s what I’ll pair it with.
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains seafood. To prepare, add everything to 500ml boiling water and cook 5 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
An instant noodle block.
A sachet of soup base powder seasoning.
A sachet of vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Nongshim Neoguri with a bunch of Ramen Bae Kimchi Mix, fishball, fishcake, shrimp, crushed red pepper, sesame seed, and scallion. The kimchi mix really livens things up; kimchi hydrates great with a pleasing crunch. Mushrooms are meaty and perfect. The kimchi adds to the broth as well, adding an extra tanginess. The only issue I have is the amount of mushroom – therre’s a lot. 2.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 86000999465.
