Here’s the second of three sent by Yoko Street. I think this is the first udon I’ve tried from these folks – I could be wrong. Looks like the good stuff too – thick and chewy. Guess we’ll find out!
Yoko Street Udon With Simmered Beef and Fish Cake – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, heat pouches in boiling water (unless they say ready to eat) in boiling water for 8 minutes. Add 8oz boiling water to condensed soup base and mix. Finally, add everything in and enjoy!
An instant noodle block.
A sachet of liquid soup base.
A sachet of fish cake.
A sachet of beef.
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Added scallion and mung bean sprout. Udon was thick and chewy – just right. Broth was indeed a shoyu and tasted good. Beef was savory and fishcake was very nice. Again, another great one from Yoko Street. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. No bar code
