Here’s something you’ll find on the instant noodle aisle, however it is obviously not a noodle. This could be good stuff – very curious. Let’s nuke it and give it a try.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, add in sachet contents and fill to line with room temp water. Microwave at 1000W for 4 minutes and let stand an additional 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added processed cheese, crushed red pepper, and scallion. Rice came out pretty well – about as one would expect from instant rice. The flavor does have hallmarks of Mexican rice; salty, cumin, a little heat. Not bad. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 041789008320.
