Found this at a local Dollar Tree store here in Kenmore, Washington. This one is fascinating and odd – it says it cooks quickly, however when you see the steeping time you might be a little surprised. Let’s check it out.
Norita Tempura Udon Shrimp Soy Sauce Noodle Soup – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains fish and shrimp. To prepare, add powder base sachet contents and fill to line with boiling water. Cover and steep for 10-12 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, fishcake, sesame seed, and scallion. Twelve minutes? Wow! Noodle was thick and nice chew – it works – if you have the time. Broth isn’t too shabby! A buck for the bowl, a time to steep. It’s not bad but I wish it was more than simply a noodle and broth. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 023907901102.
