Here’s one sent by James from Lakeside, California – thank you! Wasn’t sure if I’d had this one however the other I’ve had from this range was udon with seafood flavor. Let’s toss in some chashu and give it a go!
JML Udon Noodles With Tonkotsu – China
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add everything to 600ml boiling water and cook 4 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
An instant noodle block.
A sachet of liquid soup base.
A sachet of vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, scallion, pork, and sesame seed. Noodle is broad and plentiful with a little bit of chew. The broth is really nice – what is interesting it that it sure seemed like the vegetable that was supplied had a special extra bit of umami which really gave it an extra punch. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6921555552919.
