Here’s a variety that I found in one of MiauMall’s Nakama Noodles subscription boxes! Inside, they have 8-10 different varieties from Japan! If you’d like to get one, don’t forget to use the coupon code THERAMENRATER for a discount! Let’s see what they had to say about this one – “Obviously, the moon can’t be viewed at night, so let’s start with a visit to night stall for some tasty akisoba! This bowl combines two festival favorites—yakisoba and grilled corn! Add in a tasty charred shoyu (soy sauce) sauce and you’ll be vibing under the moonlight!”
Interesting – I have a friend who is incredibly fond of corn and noodles – he lives in the UK. Let’s give this a try and I’ll see what he has to say.EDIT-I didmentionittohimbeforehepassedandhewasn’tatallhappyaboutcorn.

Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
An instant noodle block.
Loose bits and seasoning from the tray.
A sachet of powder seasoning base.
A sachet of vegetables.
Mayonnaise!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion and sesame seed. Noodle was about as expected. Flavor was like a very sweet corn. The charred soy sauce flavor was lost on me. Included corn hydrated well. The mayonnaise gave it a little bit of greasiness. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902881457095.
