Thanks to James from Lakeside California for this one. My guess is this will be spicy; maybe Sichuan peppercorn spicy. This is a cold noodle, so it should be interesting. Well, let’s do this.

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Unsure whether or not there is meat – check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle for 3 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added cucumber, egg, sesame seed, scallion, tomato, egg, and chashu. This is great – chilled noodle has good gauge and chew and isn’t overly chewy as some cold noodles can be. The sauce is just great – I wasn’t sure what to think a Sichuan pepper element would do with Bibimmen’s flavor, but it’s perfection. Really impressed and loved it. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
