Well, I think it’s time for a break. I’ve done quite a few reviews this week and I’m so far ahead. As I write this it’s May 2nd, 2024. Weather’s getting nicer. I might do some more soon though as there’s a lot of rain in the forecast… But anyways, I had one the other day that mentioned Shaxian style noodles and this one sounded interesting as that one the other day was incredible! Well, let’s give it a go!

A sachet of liquid soup base.
A sachet of vegetables.
A sachet of liquid soup base.
Perhaps the chili crisp element?
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Chinese sausage, mung bean sprout, scallion, crushed red pepper, and sesame seed. Noodle was pretty good; flat and chewy. The flavor was kind of okay.but not at the same time. It was honestly bland except once in a while, but it was more from Sichuan peppercorn. It left me wanting move umami and tended to be very monotone. 2.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6972439827630.
