After going to the dollar store in search of something – which I found – I was on my way home and passed by a little free food pantry. People just put food in there and you just take it out. I found this one in there. I have put plenty of noodles in there in the past, so when I find something, I feel happy to abscond with it. I’m happy to not have to pay for a multipack of these, so thank you random donor. I’ll put some cool stuff in there shortly. Let’s cook this…
Snapdragon Beef Pho Beef Flavored Noodle Soup – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodles to a bowl. Add 1 1/4 cups cold water and contents of all sachets except oil. Microwave 2 minutes and let stand an additional minute. Add in oil. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Rice noodles.
A sachet of soup base powder seasoning.
A sachet of seasoned oil.
A sachet of vegetables.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, Roland Sriracha, and sesame seed. Rice noodle was hydrated, but the gauge reminds me nothing of the rice noodle found at restaurants. The only aspect that did was the broth – a lot of the notes were present, but there was this underlying meh going on I can’t put my finger on. 2.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 815055011129.
