Here’s a variety that I found in one of MiauMall’s Nakama Noodles subscription boxes! Inside, they have 8-10 different varieties from Japan! If you’d like to get one, don’t forget to use the coupon code THERAMENRATER for a discount! Let’s see what they had to say about this one – “Next up, we’re making a stop at the fanciest haunted ramen shop! This cup is fancier, high-class version of Cup Noodle’s classic chili tomato flavor. With a special hot chili oil for spice and rosemary meatballs, this is a fuller (and tastier) experience than the classic!”
Definitely looks extra fancy – let’s try it out.
Nissin Cup Noodle Extra Special Chili Tomato Ramen – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains pork and chicken. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and cover 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
An instant noodle block.
Loose bits and seasoning from the cup.
A sachet of liquid soup base.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, scallion, sesame seed, and Su Five Spice Chili Crisp. Noodle is the standard cup noodle style, flat and soft. The broth had a little extra something from the oil, but it was much like the standard Chili Tomato; it has a kind of burnt after taste which I don’t like at all. Meaty bits were nice. 1.25 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902105283813.
