I was quite happy to see a few new big bowl style instant noodles when I was at an Asian grocery the other day, especially Dragonfly brand – I think I’ve only reviewed a single solitary Dragonfly instant noodle thus far. First things first. My wife pointed this out at a Korean supermarket here in town and I was like ‘what the heck is this?’ So we got it and I’ve had some issues with it. First, I had a lot of problems finding out how to cook it. Also, what was it called??? As you can see, there’s one of those funky square bar codes on top of the container here. Here’s a new brand – Kailo! This is a big bowl of noodles too – and what an odd image on the front. But hey, how can chicken be fouled (it’s already been fowled HAHAHAHAHA – bad I know but I’m full of noodles now) it’s such a basic flavor.  So here we go! I sent out a call for help in identifying this one and got help from a reader named Eric Z. from Parkland, FL! He scanned the bar code on the image and found it on Google! Not too shabby! Something else from Saigon Ve Wong – Shrimp & Crab flavor! I sure found a lot of these down in California at the Dublin 99 Ranch Market. They’re pretty cheap too – I think these were around a dollar. I recently had a request that I include the prices of these noodles on my reviews – and that’s going to be a little tricky… See, when I go noodle hunting, I end up getting as many new kinds as I can and a lot of the time the receipt has a list – and extremely cryptic listings.
