This one's pretty good - nice bit of garlic flavor. / 0g
Bayou Heat
[ Website
Made by a supermarket chain, this is a run-of-the-mill Louisiana sauce - made in Missouri! / 0g
Bruce's Saucy Sauce
[ Website ]
Reminds me of a thick spicy worcestshire sauce - excellent on steak. Has soya eshalots and tamarind. / ?g
Bullard's Louisiana Supreme Extra Hot
[ Website ]
An average sauce - pretty salty. / 2g
Bullard's Louisiana Supreme Habanero
[ Website ]
Not too bad - has carrots and lime juice in it too which helps a lot! A decent offering. / 2g
Bullard's Louisiana Supreme
Hot
[ Website ]
Haven't tried it yet but most likelty wont anyways - so far I've found this line Bullard's puts out is laden with a lanky weasel-like aftertaste, obviously from preservatives. NOT RATED

Bullard's Louisiana Supreme Pepper
[ Website ]
This stuff has an odd flavor since it has tabasco and habanero peppers - don't know if I like the combo, but it's different. / 2g
Cajun Power
Garlic
[ Website ]
This is the best in the world.  Its full of garlic and almost like a BBQ sauce.  Just a bit of heat brings it all together into a flavor masterpiece.  Nothin better on pork shoulder steaks! /1g
Cajun Power Spicy Garlic Pepper
[ Website ]
This stuff's great - awesome on pork and on ribs.  Definitely a favorite of mine!  Very garlicky! /0g
Casa Fiesta
Hot Pepper Sauce
[ Website ]
A tall skinny bottle filled with rather run-of-the-mill sauce.  Aged red cayenne, vinegar, salt.  Came in a neat gift set from my neighbors Tom & Kay that had 2 chili mugs, chili makings, the sauce and some awesome oyster crackers. /0g

Chef Hans'
Louisiana Hot Sauce
[ Website ]
I had to get this one since my name is Hans.  Aside from the familiar name, it's a pretty decent bottle of sauce.  An all purpose sauce - would be good for wing sauce, eggs, pork shoulder steaks. / 2g 04.21.2004
Crystal
[ Website ]
Oh hell yeah - this stuff's excellent!  A staple of the hot sauce world, it has the best flavor and usability. /0g
Crystal Classic
[ Website ]
Really strong pungent garlic flavor - excellent! /0g
Crystal Extra Hot
[ Website ]
Unlike many extra hot varieties, this is quite a bit hotter than regular Crystal.  Kind of creeps up on ya! /0g
Great Value
[Walmart]
Louisiana Hot Sauce
Ahhh...  So much potential, so little thought.  This stuff is about as bad as Bullard's stuff.  Lots of salt and lots of preservative taste.  Of course a seriously good marinade additive, but not real conducive to straight shooting. /0g 08.14.2004
Louisiana - The Perfect Jalapeno
[ Website ]
This stuff's kind of nasty; it almost tastes like plastic. /0g
Louisiana Select
[ Website ]
This one's really salty - best used alone on eggs. / 2g
Louisiana Fish Fry
[ Website ]
Another very salty sauce. /0g
Louisiana Gem
[ Website ]
Salty and has a lot of vinegar.  This stuff would be awesome for marinades as a cheaper tabasco substitute. /0g
Nikia
[ ? ]
Another very salty sauce - this one's from Chicago! / 0g
Panola Cajoun
[ Website ]
Another salty cajun sauce but this time made with pepper mash. / 0g
Panola Clear
[ Website ]
As far as I can tell all this is is a clove of garlic and two peppers that are marinating in vinegar with some salt.  However, this is some damn good spicy vinegar! / 0g
Red Rooster
[ Website ]
Real artificial tasting with lots of salt. /0g
Sylvia's Queen of Soul Food
[ Website ]
A pretty awesome sauce with lots of garlic. / 0g
Tabasco - Chipotle
[ Website ]
The only chipotle I've liked so far - not overwhelmingly salty and has decent chunks of pepper in it. / 0g
Tabasco - Garlic Pepper
[ Website ]
This stuff's best on eggs.  An old standby. /0g
Tabasco - Green
[ Website ]
I've found that depending on how long a bottle of this stuff's been open has to do with how hot it is.  Very odd but awesome stuff. /0g
Tabasco - Habanero
[ Website ]
A little too hot for me, but a decent sauce. / 0g
Tabasco - Pepper
[ Website ]
I've always liked this stuff - good for marinating, with drinks and straight on eggs.  Very useful sauce. /0g
Tabasco - Spicy Soy
[ Website ]
Just like it says; it's soy sauce with tabasco peppers in it - pretty good - very good for marinating. / 0g
Texas Pete
[ Website ]
Ok - this stuff gets my full-on seal of approval.  It's a standard Louisiana style hot sauce yes, but it has Texas in it's name, and is made in North Carolina.  Their website has ample recipes that we've tried and been thoroughly happy about!  A great one on eggs and anything else! /0g

Tony Chachere's
[ Website ]
Another real salty one. / 0g
Trappey's Chef Magic Jalapeno
[ Website ]
The only magic I'd like to do with it is make it disappear. Way too salty. /0g
Trappey's Mexi-Pep
[ Website ]
Real salty and so-so on eggs. / 0g
Trappey's Red Devil
[ Website ]
A lot better than the other two - this stuff is the main ingredient for awesome wing sauces and marinades.  / 0g
TryMe Cajun Sunshine
[ Website ]
Real hot but very thin. Also a lot of salt. / 0g
