#4378: Daebak x TNTCO Carolina Reaper Spicy Chicken Flavour – Malaysia
You’ve probably seen the Daebak Ghost Pepper variety in a cup – very spicy. I’ve only had one thing that was Carolina Reaper pepper infused before – and that laid me out for hours on the floor. I’m going to guess this won’t be as hot, but I don’t know. It should be pretty strong – and I haven’t done a really spicy review in a very long time. I guess that’s about to change. There’s a mukbang video at the bottom of this post. I’m sure a lot of you will want to get this one, and while it’s available a limited time at 7-Eleven, that’s 7-Eleven in Malaysia. It can be got on Shoppee which is a popular shopping site over there, but I don’t know anything more than that. Let’s fire it up and see how spicy this is!
Mamee Shinsegae Malaysian Extravaganza – Box 3 of 3
Well, here it is. The last of the three boxes. The day I did these unboxings I had the three as well as two others – was a long session of recording and then video editing, that’s for sure. I got a message from someone on instagram asking me if I’d tried varieties from a company called ‘Ramen Talk’ a couple weeks ago. They really wanted to know where they could get more of them because the locak place they could get them didn’t have any more. Well, I looked around and found ramentalk.us so I was able to get that info to him, and at the same time ask if they could send me some samples. Well, he’s happy and now I’m happy because I got some samples and boy, do these look great! It looks like a couple of them have large slices of chashu; one with octopus?? This should be a fun set to review but let’s start with the unboxing!

Over the last year or so, I’ve been experimenting with infusing bread with instant noodles and their seasonings and making pizza with instant noodles. What’s the next logical step? Well, ice cream of course! Perhaps not logical, but it seemed like something to try. This is the first of many different ice creams I’ll be making which include noodles and seasonings from instant varieties.

Here’s another neat and never before seen Shin variety that was sent by The Fat Hipster – Shin Bokkeummyeon. Basically, it’s a dry version of Shin – also looks to be spicy from the packaging. I hope it’s good – let’s find out!
#4428: Homiah Singaporean Laksa / Laksa Noodle – United States
I was contacted recently by a woman named Michelle over at www.homiah.com – a website specializing in the flavors of Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. She asked if I’d like to try some of their products and of course I’m all in on that. So this is the second of three reviews I’ll be doing – stay tuned for the last one. The products are gluten free and as I’m writing this after trying this red curry, so far so very good. Let’s cook some laksa!
#4282: Nissin U.F.O. Truffle Carbonara Flavour Yakisoba – Singapore
This is pretty cool – it only arrived a day or so ago and it’s only around for a short time I believe, so I’m rushing it out. I definitely like carbonara. Truffles are interesting from what I’ve experienced of them. I used to visit a restaurant every once in a while called Perche No in Seattle – an Italian restaurant whose head chef was Malaysian! Anyways, he made all sorts of fascinating fusions. Was at a special dinner there once and he brought out a big container of truffles and let us check them out. Truffles are hard to describe; kind of like the finest old book smell but edible. It’s really different and compelling. Well, this yakisoba has aromatics of truffle which is very interesting to me. October 6th is National Noodle Day! I knew it existed, but every year I find out when it’s too late to do a special post or something to commemorate the day. This year, Nissin Foods USA overnighted me a box especially for National Noodle Day – and it arrived the day before! So, I’ve spent the day before National Noodle Day shooting video, doing special research, and sitting in the bathroom. Well, it’s been fun, and now it’s time to show you what you may have or have not heard about – the Nissin Cup Noodles Soup Soaker. It’s a bath bomb which came in this special box in a noodle cup. What’s more is it’s kind of chickenny. Yeah. A chicken broth bath bomb. Watch it fizz!!!
