In early December-ish, I found a neat post on Instagram about Nissin Deutschland’s Instant Noodle Advent Calendar. I thought it would be a great thing to show peopole for Christmastime! Well, I contacted them a little late, and so it literally arrived yesterday (Jan 2nd). Well, it’s way too cool not to show and if they do one again next year, I’ve set a reminder to find out at the beginning of November – I think it would be fun to do one every day until Christmas and do a video cooking it. Big News For Mr & Mrs The Ramen Rater

Today’s a special day for us – five years ago today, we first talked to each other. We were both getting through the murky end of horrible relationships and found each other on an online dating website. She lived to far away – me in northern Washington, she in Northern California. That night we spoke on the phone for a whole 6 hours and all I wanted to do was to talk to her again. It was amazing; we found each other right when we most needed each other. Five years later, I’d like to announce that we’re expecting our first child together! We found out two weeks ago! We’re very excited and can’t wait to start this new adventure.
