Today is a special day. It was the first day that my (at the time) future wife and I moved in together. Since then, we’ve made this recipe for instant noodles time, and time again. It’s a tradition. Traditions are important, like monster trucks and motocross rallies; like fresh air, happiness, and warm summer nights. Allow me to proudly present the last ramen hack that you will ever need in your arsenal – an arsenal of freedom to taste excellence.

#4117: Charming Couple Biang Biang Scallion Chicken Sauce – Taiwan
Recently got a huge box of these from Charming Couple – thanks! So this is biang biang, a very wide belt noodle. They sent 4 varieties and will be trying them soon – they all have really funny graphics on them. Let’s check this one out!
#4116: immi Tom Yum “Shrimp” Flavor Ramen Soup – United States
This is the third of three immi varieties I received from the company – thanks! They use pumpkin flour to make these noodles and thus far, I’ve had mixed results on the noodles’ consistency and chew. The first one I disliked a lot, however the second I liked quite a bit. Let’s check out this third and final iteration.
#4115: Nan Chuan Dao Sheng Wuhan Sesame Hot Sauce Konjac Rice Noodle – China
Konjac noodles generally are very chewy and rubbery – unless they have a gauge that works well with them. That being said, they’re also quite low in calories – extremely low. This one seems to marry konjac and rice together for the noodle. However, if it were simply konjac, it would be much lower. Anyways, let’s see what we have.
#4114: Naked Chinese Style Orange Chicken Flavor – United Kingdom
Well this was a nice surprise – British noodles at a local store? Unteresting the new things I’m starting to see around here. I rarely get UK varieties – I enjoy reviewing them a lot, too. Let’s check this one out and see what’s up.
#4113: Sapporo Ichiban Pokémon Noodle Salt And Seafood Flavor – Japan

#4112: Red Chef Hae Bee Hiam Dried Noodles – Singapore
This one was on the global top ten list last year, but under a different brand name. This time, it’s by Red Chef. But does it taste the same? One easy way to find out! I remember a strong prawn flavor that was just relentless – and if you like sweet prawn sauce like me, you’re going to really lose it over this. Let’s check it out!

Pumpkin seed noodles – it just fascinated me, especially since I’ve been doing weird things with bread. Now I want a noodle machine to load with all sorts of interesting things… Very curious how this oe will turn out. Last time, they were on the extremely chewy side and so we will see. Let’s give these low carb noodles a try!

By the way, thanks for all the kind birthday wishes! Hope you enjoy!

Meet The Manufacturer: #4106: Best Wok Mi Goreng Black Pepper Seafood Flavour – Indonesia

Meet The Manufacturer: #4105: Dara x Ciptarasa Mi Goreng – Indonesia
Time for another ‘put the two together’ kind of thing. Today it’s the Dara noodle paired with Ciptarasa Mi Goreng base. Sounds interesting – let’s put these two together!
Meet The Manufacturer: #4104: Best Wok Mi Goreng Original – Indonesia
This is one jazzed company. Why? A big time influencer in Indonesia says that she likes their mi goreng better than Indomie’s. That’s truly a big deal – and so here we are with their new recipe for mi goreng to find out whether I agree. I did do the hot and spicy and honestly, that one was great – especially since it has a nicer oiliness oto the noodle and wasn’t as dry as their competition – I’d say I liked Best Wok’s better. Let’s see how this new original mi goreng fares.
Meet The Manufacturer #4102: Best Wok Mi Goreng Hot & Spicy (New Recipe) – Indonesia
Turns out they have a new recipe since the last time I tried their mi goreng. Sounds great to me; seems like it would be a little difficult to improve as their stuff is really quite good. Time to get an egg frying – let’s go!
Meet The Manufacturer: Product Samples From Suprama – Indonesia

#4101: Nongshim Tonkotsu Ramen With Kuromayu Black Garlic Oil – United States
For the longest time, I only thought there was a single variety of Nongshim’s Tonkotsu bowl – the spicy one. Lo and behold, there’s this one with black garlic oil as well. What’s more, I think both exist concurrently. The spicy one has a five star rating from me and is at the top of the USA top ten. Let’s check this new one out!
#4100: Vite Ramen Vegan White Miso v1.3 Prototype – United States
This is the last of the prototypes Vite sent me. These have been really good! Curious if I’ll like this one too. What a week – I’ve been deep diving into pumpkin spice noodles for the past 4 days and while I thoroughly enjoyed them, this will be a welcome change. Let’s give this a try!
#4099: Acecook Nomihosu Ippai Miso Butter Ramen – Japan

#4097: Aces Sriracha Ramen Noodle Soup Extra Spicy – United States
Was digging around in my hampers and found I hadn’t reviewed this extra spicy variety and thought to myself ‘it’s time.’ So, since I thought that, it must be. Let’s give it a try.

#4091: immi Black Garlic “Chicken” Flavor Ramen Soup – United States
As soon as I heard about this stuff I was curious. But that was a long time ago and I’d almost forgotten why I was so curious until I did the unboxing. This stuff is made with pumpkin seed protein! That’s definitely unique. 22g of protein and 6g of net carbs. Ah, I remember net carbs. So, for every gram of fiber, you can knock off a carb. This has a ton of fiber. I’m really curious. Let’s give it a try.

I’m always really humbled when a company sends me a prototype! Getting to try something that’s being tested and isn’t available yet – that’s a true honor for me. So thanks for sending it over! I’m really curious – this one has lots of protein, fiber, vitamins, and low sodium. Let’s get to it!
#4087: Nanchang Rice Noodles Classic Flavor – China
Found these at Asian Family Market on 130th & Aurora. Don’t really know anything about these. What I can say is that they also have a crawfish flavor variety. There are so many Chinese brands that show up these days with a single variety and very little info. I should say though lots of English on this one which makes translation painless and cooking instructions are included in that. Let’s give ’em a go!
