The Ramen Rater Definitive Guide To Cup Noodles Campfire S’mores

Yeah, I know. I know… But I mean come on – this is really a fascinating thing. Why wouldn’t I review and do a deep dive? Mind you, this isn’t one of the holy three. What are the holy three? Three varieties I think would do really well – in order, Pizza, Cheeseburger, and Taco. I even asked ChatGPT about it – guess what? It agreed. Same picks. So, maybe next time we will get one of those. But for today, it’s summer and S’mores are a popular thing. I’m thinking instant noodles are probably more popular at back to school time and when it’s colder, but its released and I’m all over it. Let’s check it out.

#5053: Nissin Cup Noodles Campfire S'mores Ramen Noodles In Sauce - United States

Well, here we go again – and I like that. This is a fascinating newcomer to the range of unique Cup Noodles for customers in the United States. Pumpkin Spicy, Breakfast, Everything Bagel, and now some s’mores. I really enjoy these new varieties to try – they’ve been popping off with new and unique varieties in Japan for years – neat to see new stuff here in the USA! I’m really curious how this one will be. Let’s give it a go. First, we will look at the packaging and base product. Below that, I’ve got two recipes I made with it.

If you go to Walmart (where these are sold), you can get six of them in a flat and this is what the flat looks like (click to enlarge).

Loose bits and seasoning from the cup.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added nothing. Noodle is very much as before in the Limited Edition and Stir Fry ranges. Kinda gummy, not bad. The flavor is definitely that of s’mores; all but the chocolate bar aspect, I reckon. Like a slightly gooey mallow and graham cracker flavor. Is it really great? No, but it’s generally what I expected. I do wish the little marshmallows would have remained cohesive. As you can see, it is literally a noodle and sauce and I crave a little added texture; the bits that you just want more of. But it is as advertised, unique, and fun. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars.  UPC bar code 070662409060.

Watch me cook on Instant Noodle Recipe Time!

Recipe #1: S’mores on S’mores

So as you can see (click to enlarge), I’ve put noodles on graham crackers with marshmallows and chocolate. Good? Not really – violently sweet.

Recipe #2 – The Texture Method

Here we go – (click to enlarge) you now have the base product with crushed graham cracker on top, marshmallow, and chocolate. Good? Well, my daughter ate it but she’s 7 years old and like Buddy from the film Elf – she’d drink maple syrup if it came in a six pack. Me? No, not really into it – too sweet. Too too sweet. Until next time. Stay noodley, my friends…
